Cycle to Gunguddy then head off on a leisurely paddle exploring ancient rock pagodas. This ride heads east across the plains before coming to the edge of the Wollemi National Park.

This ride skirts around the back to the Coomber Melon Mountain which sits right on the edge of the Kandos township. It then heads south before following the Dunville Loop. You'll pass through a sweeping landscape in a bowl with amazing views of escapements as you ride.
The ride out to Gunguddy heads west passing through rural areas dotted with homesteads before the wilderness of the Wollemi National Park starts to close in on you. It's an ancient landscape of large boulders and rocky pagodas weathered and shaped over millennia.
This is another great back country ride that roughly follows the old railway line before crossing the highway near Lue and then circling back towards Rylstone on Pyangle Road. Excelent panoramas and landscape that changes from rural to native forrests.
The ride takes the rural backroads travelling on the plains to the west and north of the Warrumbungles as well as a two day loop through the Pilliga.Spend a night in Coonabarabran and peer out at the universe from the observatory and get up close with emus at Emu Logic farm.

The Coolah Circuit tour is a Central West Cycle Trail Hybrid tour beginning in Mendooran and heading east though rural land holdings with some excellent sweeping views through to the Warrumbungles in places. Coolah is a vibrant small town and the pivot point, heading south to Dunedoo then looping back to Mendooran along the Central West Cycle Trail.
